RAP21 - Get the Basics for Journalism at NSJ Training Centre: "Journalists from Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe may apply for a foundation course in journalism taking place from 26 July to 6 August in Botswana. The course, offered by the NSJ Training Centre, is designed prepare journalists to qualify for admission into one of the many course offered through the centre. Participants will be provided with the basic journalism skills including newsgathering, news writing, ethics, how to report critically and analytically, investigative reporting and interviewing skills. Other topics covered in the course: preparing and writing logical reports, media and society and basic issues in media economics."
